CD1 Mixed by Dyprax. Although is a mixed compilation most of the tracks appear in almost full length and that gives you the opportunity to test them. In general is a very good cd with the classic hardcore tracks including vocal samples, (some with men vocals some with female), lead synths, but with the same drum sound with differences in the rhythm and occasionaly in the attack filters. That's not necessarily bad, but we don't have anymore the diversity of the 90's (for example). All the tracks are awesome. They keep you alive and kicking. It's the sound that you can easily hear for hours in a party for example and that, because having a section in the middle of the track or in the beginning with "soft" melody and some vocals helps you chill out and prepare for the next wave of synth and drums. (I'm talking about track 7 - Statement of disorder, track 8 - On the edge). They are just two examples. The majority of the hardcore songs in this compilation and era shares the same pattern. I cannot tell which song i liked most, because all are fantastic. Just enjoy. CD2 Mixed by Unexist. A more remixed cd with shorter lengths of the tracks. A little harder than the first cd with some tracks reminding something like noisecore, with shouting vocals that hurt your ears and drum lines without specific patterns, something like improvisation. We don't have the same melodies like the first cd. The tracks here are rough and noisy, and that's the reason i didn't pay too much attention in this one. My suggestion and opinion is that the second cd is not for all the hardcore funs. I may be wrong. Besides, it's all about taste in the music.
