The title track is a breezy ditty that was evidently aimed at coffee shop airplay, TV commercials, etc. The real highlight is the astounding "Down Love's Tributaries," a long, psychedelic journey into the deepest realms of imagination and existence. I honestly would vote for it as the most psychedelic song ever recorded, above all the so-called "psychedelic" bands of the '60s and their paisley revivalists. Luckily, this song is also available on the band's B-Sides And Otherwise compilation. The other two tracks are quirky experiments that do not detract from the disc's overall value. It seems as though this is a compilation of songs by four different bands in four different genres, so perhaps Morphine were more versatile than people generally think. Too bad they didn't show more of these sonic layers on their studio albums.
