2nd album by all acoustic Folk-stringer/Songwriter from Chicago accompanied by Randy Lewis on 2nd guitar;expressive voice(the combination of a white Country-singer and the Negro blues throat!) w/ a rockin' edge and ramblin' fever on the mind and the bottom E-string out of tune(well,it's in tune with him..and that's what it's all about..right?all self penned songs(save one) that really go somewhere..highly original and a powerful performance by a different protest-singer...his themes ain't 'em topix of the days 'n places but more existential/personal maps describing life's futility deserts...songs that somehow are able to bridge the white country singers with the negro blues-singers!...or as Joel Holleb of Hootenany Magazine puts it "...the blending is a reflection of a community in transition" ;
