Some original tracks here, but mainly more recent instrumental takes over classic and boss 1969-75 rhythms. I was not expecting this to be half as good as it is - recommended 100%

You're obviously misled by the high quality of production: These are original recordings from A1 to B7, covering the period of about '69 - '71 - with the exception of A6 Marques' "Jamaica Serenade" which was '75 - as given in the notes. No "recent" recordings at all (or this "recent" stands for "recorded ca. 38 years ago"). All these saw Jamaican release on 7" (maybe a very few exceptions).

One of the best instrumental reggae compis, all killer no filler. Hail the man Rupie Edwards!

Delicious sounds from Rupie Edwards, one of the finest compilations of early instrumental reggae. Great musicians, great arrangements, crystal clear production.
