The amazing 8-piece Shapeshifter eventaully burnt-out some time after the April 1998 concert documented here, although during the time that followed lots of sessions ensued exploring new avenues, a lot of it uniquely trippy and almost Kosmische Krautrocky on "Easier To Feel" which sometimes reminds me of Agitation Free or The Cosmic Jokers. It was the end of an era when I left in June 1999 and then Jim shortly after, but then the birth of our new amazingly prolific project Endgame. Meanwhile Shapeshifter continued, reshaped, reformed, fell-apart and then came back together in a rockier form....
