As a fan of genuine 1970's prog, particularly of the the more creative and experimental kind, 90% of the time reformations are a bad idea. Well, even the last 1970's Mona Lisa felt like a reformation of inferior quality. So, what of this? Well, mostly it sounds like some young prog metal band backing Mona Lisa's lead singer. He's still pretty much on top form, but the music's so often of a different world that it's quite likely that those who will like it will never get to hear it. Fearing the worst I was slightly relieved that it wasn't terrible!
