The record itself is white, but not clear. This is not on ITunes, so other than YouTube this is the only way to listen to the remixes. Has very good audio quality, and has some great remixes.

Dynamic Range around 13 and 15 It's good for 2015 ...

That A side is simply amazing! 10 minutes of pure awesomeness, and ridiculously good music!

It would be great to have also the remix of Daft Punk themselves...

I would've just loved an instrumental on this, instead of the original mix. Get Lucky's one of the best songs of the year, by far, but I already have the original mix on Random Access Memories' vinyl, so I just kind of double dipped by buying this. The radio edit is cool to have on a record if you're like me and trying to get your grubby hands on everything the Dafts have made.As far as the Daft Punk Remix goes, it's certainly catchy, and I agree that it's mostly just a throwback to an old 80's DJ remix, which I suppose is the whole point of this whole excersize, isn't it?

The only relevant version for me is the single/radio edit. The album version is too long and boring for my taste and the Daft Punk remix switches around some parts but adds no useful buildup and generally makes no sense to me.

Anyone else got a problem with download? Seems to be only available to US residents.edit: Seems to be working now.

Nice package here. Contains the longer version of the groovy Audio Jacker Remix and the rare Full Intention Private Edit, a dub-like remix with less vocals. Nice marbled records and good pressings, too.

Daft Punk got lost. Don't they realise how many artists make good disco music nowadays? This is nothing special. And Pharrell Williams is one big mistake here.

The new single of Daft Punk, the new album for May

I was thoroughly intrigued by DP's previously stated intention to go more into disco, but now that I've heard the result...eh. This is a vapid, beige mess. Well, maybe "mess" is giving it a bit more credit for being interesting than it actually deserves. The lyrics here are insultingly awful and lack even a minimum of evocative content. The vocals themselves are...well, serviceable, though that's hardly what one wants or expects from a Daft Punk track. Until halfway through my first listen to the single, I thought this was a late April Fool's jest...then there's that "Daft Punk"-ish section that happens with the robotized vocals...but my quotes around Daft Punk there probably say more about my feelings here than anything else. This song sounds like it has quotes around it, quotes that squeezed the life juices out of it and left a bloodless, dessicated skin of a song behind. Why would I want or need Daft Punk to put out something that sounds like it has quotes around it? To be sure, it'll sound nice and fill a dancefloor if it's blasted with enough low end. But that's just because Daft Punk is a brand, and this tune will be ubiquitous due to the brand's reach, not because the song merits any real enthusiasm (certainly not since the amount of creative effort that went into it was apparently minimal.) I'm sure I'll get called a hater by a few unthinkingly blind Daft Punk automaton fans, but I'm being very honest when I say I was initially very excited about this new direction and truly gave it a chance — however, it's bland and disappointing at best. Sounds like corporate background music you'd hear during a pre-movie Hyundai or Pepsi Zero commercial.

I won't call you a hater but I respectfully disagree, while you see a boring disco track I see a perfect catchy pop song with absolutely sublime production. It's definitely going to be the most pop and simple song of the album and for that it is perfect.

I don't believe I said I wasn't going to listen to the rest of the album. ;) I'm sure some of it's going brilliant. And as pop radio songs go, "Get Lucky" is...decent. Better than many. The issue here is that Daft Punk is capable of so much more than is apparent from this single. It's a incredibly boring song. Less than the sum of its parts, which is the opposite of what those two have led us to expect over the years. I'm glad you like it. I wish I did, too, but it's lackluster. One quick comparison: did you ever see the Gus Van Sant remake of the movie "Psycho" by Hitchcock? It was a shot for shot remake of the original classic thriller, but done with new technology and new actors. And it was...incredibly boring. It not only failed to improve on the original, it didn't even justify its own existence. It wasn't thrilling, it was...headscratching, like a bland exercise. Daft Punk's wholesale yoink of disco on "Get Lucky" is similar. They're not adding anything noteworthy, and the few bits that sound "Daft Punk"-ish are...rote. Like Daft Punk by-the-numbers, y'know? So why do it? I'm hoping the rest of the album makes a better argument for this new direction. Like heliosphaner said in the other review here, "Don't they realise how many artists make good disco music nowadays? This is nothing special." And that's very, very true.One last point, by way of asking a question: If this song had been issued by a totally different group (i.e. not Daft Punk), would you or anyone else find it worthy of being a number one single? Noooope. :)

Well you can’t please everyone, I like the track and am looking forward to hear what else is going to be on this album release. I think teaming up with Pharrel was a good choice I like his vocals against the daft punk disco style and the lyrics to the song touch on this generation’s party (session-ing) lifestyle. All round winner from my point of view, does what it says on the tin good party track though I’m going to hate that it will undoubtedly be overplayed.
