Invissibale
With a record of this caliber, remixing it becomes a difficult task. When Aldo Marin approached Tommy Musto and myself with the proposal to remix this classic, I found myself working on my first serious remix project. The track itself was seven years old in 1990. Of the two remixes, one was done in our studio which was Northcott. that is the mix found with the original on the 'B'side. I like this one because Tommy let me explore the possibilities, while he just engineered. The 'A' side cut was done at D&D recording and Aldo sat in on the mix. I think the obvious in itself made the 'A' side remix better because the engineers in D&D knew how to work that room. Listening to that now, 15 years later, I can hear such a love for the U.K. "Summer Of Love" walking through NYC without losing its original flavor. Which is what happened to all the remixes that would follow.
