Narcotic influence (1) is the choice track here, much plugged in the clubs in 94/95. The album is very well produced and some of the tracks work well (PH1 for example) but none can get close to the mighty sound of "drugs taking their lives away"!
Exellent
This is straight forward acid techno with quick beats and chaotic melodies. Both versions of "Narcotic Influence" are the best of both lp's. Driving dancefloor material that certainly is not original, new or refreshing, yet the music remains addictive. The music certainly sounds dated for the current time period, however, it is from 1996 (Sad that 1996 is a dated sound). This album is worth a listen, but dont expected to be blown away by it.

Found Empirion thru the Firestarter Single, and hunted down this CD shortly afterwards. I cant say enough about this now defunct trio. they had an absolutely fantastic sound (even if it did sound dated) Ciao, PH1, and the Meat Beat remix of Narcotic Influence were enough to make me track down every release they had. Sounds kinda like early 80's techno with a dose of acid synths and drums stolen from Bill Leeb/NIN. worth it if your into Wumpscut, anything Front242 related or any electronic-industrial sound. 9/10
