Does anyone know the date is this - said to be repress - issue? Gatefold plus large Supertramp name and A&M logo on front cover is equal to the original 1971 issues and deviates from later (e.g. 1977) reissues. Is this issue also from 1971?

That release was incorrectly dated 1970. Now it's not anymore. ;-) Silver labels were first introduced in the US in 1973, one year later in Europe (or at least most of). This version is surely from 1974 onwards, I can't be more precise about this but it looks like a mid-70s issue to me. Date should stay vacant.

Thanks for the swift response. Can you help me find evidence? In comparison, I see that also r10505076, their debut album, NL release said to be from 1970 (!), has silver labels. Is the silver label not typical for distribution region, or is the release I’m referring to wrongly dated? Looking forward to more information on this!

Definitely it's not. It's a mid-70s issue. This label design was introduced in 1974.

MISSPRINT VERSION: The A&M logo on front cover is "reversed" (M&A). Also exist a version with the correct logo and with the spine in white color.

Comes in a gatefold sleeve. Made in Holland
