Yes, I'm underwhelmed by the art direction for this release. Actually, I feel this way for most of the current soundtrack releases. Allot of these movies have some amazing posters/original artwork that would be perfect, instead most use (IMO) uninspired artwork.

Although the packaging, the vinyl colour and pressing quality are all very good, I'm in agreement. The choice of artwork I found underwhelming. What was selected was in itself ok, but should in my opinion have included the original artwork and some movie stills. The gatefold should have opened up with a movie photo(s). Waxwork have worked a lot on this as is well documented but it think this one maybe could have come out better using more of the original art.The most important aspect though is the music. Which as a document to this classic movie is in a word essential.

Okay, I'm admittedly not a huge fan of the comic/pop art they went for. An ultra-gloss gatefold of the original art, something more subtle, would've been great. However, the records sound great; it's nice to have the extended OST.

complete soundtrack, are you sure? another crap reissue...look, they have done it in color..! wow... original artwork much better then this ugly cover artist do.. better to buy mint Cinevox record, then this child color shit record... Such labels as Waxworx transformed soundtrack collecting to joke!

WAXWORK is the #1 soundtrack re-issue label. Do some BASIC RESEARCH.

If you have evidence, please provide it. If not, STFU.

You have NO IDEA what you are talking about. Waxwork does great mastering, and the vinyl looks fantastic, as well as the artwork. In addition, Waxwork gives us music cues that never made it onto the original albums..this is a GOOD thing. If you want the OG soundtrack LP's, BUY THOSE.

hahahha lmao amig0z is right , its really just a cd remaster on vinyl ..... yea sure "fully analog and from the original master tape " ...MY ASS

I don’t need this clown record from clown label. They just reissued one of Cinevox cds to double vinyl, CD is limited by time, so it is not fact that it was "completed soundtrack". And there are also music in film which were not produced by Goblin, but also is great. Clown label just make cash on insipidity of you damn hipsters. This is imitation of coolness. a truly wonderful vinyl - excellent work for the waxwork team, surely one of the most beautiful releases of 2018
