Side 2 seems to be an exact lift of the second side of the JK & Co. LP. Anyone know what the deal is?

In my research into these bands, I've found there's no connection between J.K. & Company and The Eccentrics whatsoever. The Eccentrics listed here is a Lincoln, NE-based group that was a precursor to Zager and Evans ("In the Tear 2525"). The Eccentrics released two singles on the Omaha, NE based Applause label: "Share Me"/"Stars" and "Night Time Noon Time"/"I Still Live You". The other recordings on this comp credited to the Eccentrics ("Listen to the Raindrops"/"Lonesome for Your Love") were actually done by a group called Denny Lammar and the Echoes, another Zager & Evans precursor that was also released on Applause. White Whale had relationships with other Lincoln-based bands from this era. My guess is that White Whale licensed the 6 Applause tracks, while also holding some sort of copyright to the J.K. & Company, and used the J.K. & Company tracks to fill out the 2nd half of the LP. I'm in touch with the family that owns the rights to all the Applause label stuff and will see if I can find out more, as this is something I've had questions about for a long time too.
