This is the best $13 sale price I've ever spent.

This is the 2016 release. The label information listed here all matches up with the 2016 Lefse reissue (see that release page) - the first time this reissue, a pared down version of the 2010 Japanese remaster, came out on vinyl.

Well i have so say its a great remaster, really super stereo separation and frequency control but shoddy cheap pressing. Vinyl has has bubbles in it, sleeves leave paper residue everywhere, white marks on the records....1. First had crackling all way through side C.2. Second had a nasty scratch / crackling on Side A, low frequency thumping on Side C.3. Waiting for a third, lets hope its not anther disaster...
Iarim
Nope, all three are crap... what a shame he never went the extra mile as the fidelity is really good
Anayalore
Fantastic sounding reissue, definitely one of my favorites from 2016.

Why 2LP? Seems the flow of the tracks is broken this way.. Strange.
Cordantrius
The reissue also includes four bonus tracks - best way to do this is spread out the original album to 3 sides instead of 2, and use side D for the bonus material. No way would these 17 tracks fit on a single disc...
Rainshaper
Thank you Bootbox. Makes sense (like MOFI etc) but musically it breaks up the flow of these tracks, which blend into each other in a couple of instances. Oh well, I'm glad they reissued it, in any form!

2LP is for sound quality, always. It's less convenient but that's vinyl in general. When you spread out the album over more sides, the grooves get less squished together and you can improve the sound quality greatly.

What a great sounding remaster of this interesting LP! This record appeals to so many of my different tastes in music in one hit! A sonic injection for the soul! Nicely presented and well pressed, the sound quality on this one is just right! EDIT: It's so good, I wish I'd got two copies, because this is going to get a lot of play.
Gagas
Nice sounding remaster, not too different to the original but some elements do stand out a little more to my ears. It's like putting on two different pairs of glasses with slightly varying focus. Can't say it's necessarily better or worst, just different. The records themselves sound nice and the transparent orange vinyl along with the matching labels is really nice. My copy has some warping but it doesn't seem to be affecting playback. High quality package overall but I immediately stuck the records in poly-lined sleeves, those glossy paper inners are like static magnets! Great release, just hope that Point and Sensuous are next and get the same treatment.

Yeah I think the thing that I hear the most change in this remaster is the level of the vocals, especially on mic check and clash.
