Sound is a bit on the thin side, lacking in bass. The banjo playing is more strummed chords than finger picking. Not exactly what I look for in a banjo record. Just flipped to side 2, let's see where it goes. Meh.. same thing. Good playing but I'd prefer bluegrass banjo over this. Last two songs have vocals and last song takes a picked solo but that's all there is. Cover is cool. It goes back into the banjo section to be flipped past. Paper sleeve.

I think the album might have been more enjoyable for you had you known prior to listening to it that it is not Bluegrass banjo but rather Jazz/Roaring Twenties style music.
