Narcotic Beats could be described treated-guitar ambiance à la Seefeel layered over stuttering µ-Ziq-style breakbeats. Unlike Paradinas' work however, the percussion here is generally back in the mix, often covered in a layer of static hiss. Nothing remarkably ground-breaking here, but well-executed nonetheless. Another touchstone for this record might be Chessie's 'Signal Series' record.
Weernis
I only know Greentone, from the Hamlet soundtrack. The song's front is mostly noise, but there's a warm melody to it, and a trip-hopish beat is thrown in the background. The song seems transcedental. No idea how the rest of the CD is...
