Voulis... Important Records are re-issuing that boxset Ape of Naples - The New Backwards.. Hopefully I also can be able to get that Re-print... Note that vinyl of TNB is missing 3 songs - AYOR, Backwards & Fire Of The Green Dragon - Not sure if forthcoming re-issue is having those added... Prolly not... So I´d need TNB on Cd IF someone would sell it for reasonable price - hahhaa - also prolly not happening.

Paragraph 2.Waste not waist.Opinions are like arse holes, everyone has one.

-SHOCKING A BIT!-Do you even Coil bro?-No Rest for the un-WICKED!! Or so it seems?I kid, but not. Curious how avid a Coil listener you might be? Considering how subjective and non useful your review is. If you like and listen to Coil enough to make even any kind of review? As I am hoping for the very sake of both, this site, as well as music lovers using it, that here in this context, you are more a fan of their work, than not. It is obviously only a 4 word statement (hardly constituting a review, T.B.H. it’s just almost a blank statement).1. Lacking any writing skills such as punctuation and capitalization suggests a “why bother? This is not important enough” attitude. Tho i could be wrong, i mean i am assuming you did at least take time & listen & experience the full body of work? Right? By “full” i mean in its entirety, “to back from frontwards”??? Haha!!! Hopefully more than once, certainly not less than that as that would hint at some sort of mild sarcasm trying invoke “prove me wrong” type attitude, that or a completely simple trolling (id like to think not, cuz why troll on this kind of site? That take s a lot of effort with little payoff, if any at all. 2. “wow” denotes surprise, a suggestion of an expectation, be it + or - and thus it’s clear you were disappointed and had some type of Copil related comparison ingrained in you i.e. an album you love to death. that this one just did not live up to for you. Again i could be wrong.but if not, i doubt you would take the time to post a “review” after apparently already being disapointed. Why waist more of your time, right? Not that 4 words take forever, but still. Just 4 words of opinion with no care for giving or exploring reasoning. That is an obvious facet of when someone is simply done with it. Probably also never really had been with it. aka, YOU JUST DON’T LIKE IT ENOUGH TO CARE WHY THAT IS! 3. “this is bad” hints again at your Coil knowledge. Also that you may know how deeply invested this aural ritual was. It lived a decade long writing and growing process, both on and off the stage. All the while other bodies of work were also in this state, separate yet given the same dedication to let it become what it really is. Instead of being forced, it waited as others manifested faster or in different ways for different reasons. This always the case, much more like children than works of art, extensions of ones self. Dedication to the nurturing and natural development with unconditional love and patience. That in itself is ALMOST UNHEARD OF! It is why Coil Rituals feel so alive, because they are full of nothing else. They are alive and tangible, you can feel the embrace a Coil sound gives you just as vividly as when it scold you. You can hold its comforting hand, laugh angrily or happily cry with it. In turn it does what most music only wishes it could even pretend to do, It will listen, giving its full attention to you. Trust in truth is what Coil Ritual is born of.4. Most musicians lack a level of trust in themselves as do most artists. We all are our own worst critics. Music is a medium that feeds on criticism of any and all kind. If there is no criticism there is no connection. Not allowing that connection to be what it truly is, is control. Those who seek to control are among the most anxious. Control is addictive, it is power. It can and should gain more power the further along it develops. Within growing form and learning ideas, it begins to almost beg you to know the next step in giving it life. It wants to become one with you, as equally as you with it. A song of truth will never give up on its existence. Not even when there is that single, half a second part that you both can feel deeply is off by even the tiniest fraction. A scar within the entirety of obvious perfection is then the focus, the distractor of the rest. Most people on general can’t sit on such a minuscule detail regarding anything for 10 days let alone a decade. Eventually they tire of the “fight” so they will say “fuck it” as why risk it never falling into proper ears, if not worse, not in any ears at all, likely even the musicians for that matter. That would forever ring pointless, being born to be left to die without recognition. Nothing wants that, and nobody can bare to breed that. To breed a flawed life that is of you, and only exists as a biologically viable connection because of yours, that is better than none at all.So then the secret whispers of the self echo with knowledge. They poke and pull and try and justify why you see it, but cannot grab firm. They let you see and feel and rationalize. Thus together you find ways to think away from the stale tired cycle. You inevitably settle for excuses in order to put it to rest. Thinking, besides... nobody would or could even know that it is incorrect, accepting that nobody but you, the musician will know. It is done. This is of course, unless you write music for entirely the right reasons, that being because it makes you do it. You have no choice but to listen to it. After all it technically is entirely only you!!! This musician is no fool, they listen louder than they make sound to be listened to. They know there is another that knows and always will, of the imperfection, the error, it is the song itself. It more than knows, it enacts its, intentionally feels it, repeats it, lives with it and allows you, in a way, to abuse it. This is a betrayal of why the song exists in the first place. If you try and ignore it. It will haunt you. Likely as well, will in time, Leave you because you have left it. Mutual always, It will never dance with you again, nor anyone. There is shame there. A secret. FESTERING!!! A musician that loves true, songs a fully fed, entirely free and forever living tune. See! Now thats how you explain some deep and heavy musical feelings. Stating things like “I feel sad and hate it” leaves only questions. A review, should leave you with answers. So tell us please, agreed or not, set you on the dissecting table of your words, allow us to be set right…Why “this is bad”, “WOW” us with why!!! Please don’t bore us with pointless statements, you stated it, you must know why.THAT IS WHY WE ARE ALL HERE! Thank you.

"Princess Margaret's Man In The D'jamalfna" is an alternate version/remix of "Egyptian Basses". The latter was never properly released (unfortunately) but widely available on the net (cf. Songs of the week). You can also find a video of it on Youtube (see above).
