The digital download doesn’t match the album. I think it the 1999 reissue. It’s missing the supporting acts and the rehearsal disc. Guess I’m going to have to rip my own from the vinyls.
Jozrone
Yes, this is also what I have discovered. Luckily I was able to find another digital copy elsewhere that had both nights performances, but the rehearsal and bonus single was not included. If you get these ripped off vinyl let me know! Maybe you can upload them to youtube or something
Thetalas
I love the introduction to this where he says 'don't cheer when Johnny walks on stage, cheers after he says 'Hello, I'm Johnny Cash'.
WOGY
My copy is made in Europe and the rehearsals vinyl is a 12".
Insanity
general audio quality is fine but I've been through 4 copies of this and all discs looked like they were dragged through a hedge - 100% shitty QC
Qudanilyr
What we're really missing from this concert we're still missing, namely the complete film footage. Not another documentary or a mash-up, or a tribute, or a duets album, or Statler Brothers outtakes, but the footage of the show that they obviously went through great trouble to capture. I guess we'll have to wait for the 75th anniversary when there's nobody left to care.
The Rollers of Vildar
Only 2500 were pressed for the US. More were pressed for the UK, don't know now many.I think for the UK version the rehearsal disk is a 10" vinyl and the US version is a 12" vinyl.
Stanober
how many did they press, on the sites they say 2500, but i have number 5224
Ann
2500 is for the US market AFAIK. However, this was released worldwide, which is why you see numbers higher than 2500.
Malarad
Heard of numbers over 6500. Disappointing. Thought this was 2500.
Manesenci
Any comments on the quality of this pressing?I have nothing to go by, other than a few I've heard here and there, but this is one of the few country singers I love.So... I am on the fence.
Xwnaydan
Awesome, thanks for the heads up.Def looking into getting one
Marad
Thank you for the help! I'm sure I'll find one in time; good to know it's worth it
Alexandra
Pretty quality sounding. A couple are a litte off centre or warped but don't seem to effect the quality too much.
Tolrajas
hi mark. the quality of the pressing is extremely good. you got the four lps with really clean production. the last record, is a little bit muffled in my own personal opinon. but its fair enough if you consider that it's a rehearsal that's been recorded, probably with not the best suitable means. but other than that, you buy a lovely edition, extremely good overall, for a great price nice booklet and really great photo shoots.
