What an interesting 80's De Wolfe release. This has an commercial appeal for jazz enthusiasts as well as sense of light pop. Many fans of De Wolfe, stop at the end of the 70's,; however DO NOT miss this very jazzy and fun filled album that sounds like a commercial release from the same era.

Malann

The title of "Sweatshirt" mixed with the saxophone on the cover makes me picture a jazzercise class in the 80s wearing sweatshirts, spandex and headbands working out to saxophone music. I was expecting that when I bought the album but was pleasantly surprised. The music is surprisingly good. Some electronics, lots of saxophone, and quite a bit of funky breaks to be found here. Solid 4/5.

This is actually a 5/5 album. Lots of great beats to be found here. Definitely one of those under-the-radar releases.
