Now that I don’t have it anymore; I will say it – due to the stupid pitching up quite some tracks sound atrociously out of key and can’t be enjoyed, at least for me personally. I can live with a mix CD with the odd track there and then a bit sped up as long as it’s not overdone but a whole compilation of tracks supposedly in full length all pitched up is nonsense since you can’t really say the tracks are in full unflawed glory! Speeding up tracks doesn’t necessarily mean they are more ‘hardcore’ or sound better, rather quite the opposite at least in this instance.I just sold my copy for a mere €20 which is way lower than the asking prices around but am more than happy because first I have made space on my shelf for some other CD which I will enjoy more and second I still have made a gain compared to what I paid for it in 2011, lol.Bottom line – don’t pay a ridiculous price for this, there are no essential tunes unavailable anywhere else digitally; and if you have a CDJ slow them down.

I actually strongly disagree with the other reviewer. I like my trance faster, so I enjoy that several of the tracks are slightly pitched up compared to the original recordings. And regardless of speed, this compilation is just brilliant. So many of these tracks are classic tunes from an earlier era of outdoor (and indoor) parties. This two-CD set is legendary. I'm honestly not surprised by the high prices, even if that always makes me sad.

FYI almost all the tracks on this cd are speeded (pitched up) versions of the originals, be warned they sound worst on this cd.
