"Soulgood" contains guitar samples from Dolly Parton's - "Jolene" (1974)

First off, for those wondering about the excellent guitar sample in this track - I believe it is sourced from Dolly Parton's "Jolene."Now onto my brief review:"Soulgood" is an excellent old school Tech House track. A great use of the Jolene guitar sample here pulls the package out of the background and into the limelight. The percussion is well executed; both timely and appropriately mixed. The transitions are spot on, with enough transition work to pull the package well into a seamless whole. The synth layering with the sample is beautiful giving the track a haunting ambiance at times."Be Ready" is on a whole different Tech House / House vibe. This sounds fresh to the market, and right out of the 1605 / Umek back end. A subtle touch of brass and Swing era vibe in the track brings the track a nice bit of flair. The sound is reminiscent of combining a Gramaphondzie track with a track Umek might drop. The sounds are fresh and modern as of the release date, and the track definitely warrants a look on its own.All in all, this release really grabbed me and got me looking into the label deeper for some Techno / Tech House releases that are a bit more unique. If you like the genre, you should check out this release.
