Can hear the influence of "retrospect" on a few current releases / productions, Arto Mwambe & Brawther to name a few..Can't blame them, such a strong EP, have tried selling my copy a few times when short of cash, but as soon as you put it on the turntable for that last listen, have always ended up reaching out for the shelf to pick something else to sell!Guidance is such an underrated label, some incredible music, up there with Prescription/Balance/Alleviated/EtcIf you can't mix these tracks you should be doing something else.

Love this record, don't agree with the comments you can't incorporate this into sets. Retrospect can be used to great effect. A lovely slow builder that keeps you interested throughout. Fantastic record!

A home-listening house classic, hard to dance to, hard to mix in a DJ set, but sounds great booming from the car or home speakers...complex multilayered funky house music that will appeal to fans of IDM.

An extremely subtle record, with countless layers and loads of variation. Rasoul and McCarthy take their time to build up to the eery vocal, but keep you interested with some pretty leftfield sound effects. Essential for any real house-heads collection, but difficult to mix into a party set - it's a bit too brooding and pensive for that.
