Scorpio's Movement is a true killer. It's just builds and builds, so many layers that make the perfect technotrack. The break is awesome, electro bass-injected totally flippin' the direction of the track. Just buy it and play it, it tears the dancefloor apart. It fits a minimal set, but you can also insert it in a harder set, really versatile. One of my favorite records of all times, don't think Väth ever topped this one!

'Fusion' is just plain odd. It lies somewhere between experimental jazz orchestra and pop with a very quirky edge - straight out of the Yello school of experimentation. 'Scorpio's Movement' is the dance floor track here. There was quite a lot of expectation around this track since it was Sven’s first release under his own name following his divorce from trance. It is now clear to see that the more minimalist groove oriented techno direction that he was to settle for was already evident here. This may not make such an impact as his earlier releases, but it certainly will grow on you, and actually sits quite well next to the harder more techno oriented trance records out there. In particular, look out for the distorted feel running throughout - a sign of things to come.
