The first few tracks I thought this LP sounded bang on 3 stars no more no less, almost every single beat and phrase ticks along as if it was literally computer generated to a formula. It demonstrated elements of potential to build through the 2nd half of the LP though, so as the album finished I was disappointed to find it trails off into some attempt at urban grittiness and menace (this is following some disco-ey house). It doesn't work for me.Firstly, for me to want to listen to a record again, there has to be something on it to hook me in, some spirit of sorts, good/bad/beautiful/furious... whichever. On this there's nothing I'm sorry to say. The few vocal pieces are the stronger points but if I want a pretty voice to sing to me I'm in a rare mood as it is. Perhaps 6-7 years ago I might have wanted to put together a vocal-driven mix of electronic city music however the chances of doing that now are a long way down the list, but for that I may find I would come back through curiosity/thoroughness.Perhaps I'm being overly dismissive as the disco house vibes could come in handy, but as an LP, it falls to the side I'm sorry to say. I feel the contents of this LP were all covered in 2007-2010 and were done much more convincingly by many. Not quite an enjoyable 3 star album. But 2 feels too harsh.

VV10 is short for Vester Voldgade 10, which is the address in Copenhagen where the Dunkel Bar used to be.
