Outer Limits were one of the best of the third wave of Japanese progressives. Like the leading lights of that wave: Bi Kro Ran, Outer Limits were also very King Crimson inspired, but they took on board elements of Gabriel era Genesis, and even some Krautrock influences (Grobschnitt, Hoelderlin, Wallenstein), all done with a fresh new approach. Often the "English" vocals are unintelligable, but the lead singer's voice with thick/strong Japanese accent is delightful, and more-so when one can understand him.This is one of their three best albums, partly re-done for the CD market, with bonus tracks.The only video reference I could find for this is the live version, which gives you an idea!
