Even to these fairly well trained ears I find it difficult to pick out the subtleties of this ‘new’ version of Clivilles & Cole’s near-decade old club anthem and pop crossover hit. From those distinctive Hammond chords to Martha Wash’s authoritative tones, little has changed, even the tempo still sounds as it did back in ’92. Exactly who the Ambassadors Of Love are remains shrouding in secrecy – probably to avoid legal action for what is in all actuality little more then a bootleg. Regardless the song still sounds amazing, is impossible to resist and oozes with charm and appeal.
