This lovely Philips pressing from Japan 1968 sounds fantastic & is in stereo unlike some of the '67 issues, well worth obtaining if you haven't added Scott 1 to your collection. Collectors & uber fans should seek this one out because not only is it such a good pressing, the cover is different from the UK version. It's in heavy cardboard, gatefold sleeve style, with all the lyrics in English/Japanese on pages on the inside & reviews of Scott's music & career thus far (in Japanese) even quoting Australian newspapers comparing the young Scott Engel to Bing Crosby & Harry Belafonte. It's definitely a collector's item.

I have a UK pressing and some of the orchestral parts over-modulate. The mix is too hot, is this better on the Japanese version?
