The CD single Nos Ta Canta (title of the song book of the same name) is a recording of historical songs composed by some of the leading songwriters of the Antillean-Aruban music from way back: Jacobo (Shon Coco) Palm, Hubert Booi, Rufo Wever, Stephanus van der Pavert and Padú Lampe.Inspired by the moonshine on the unique landscape of the Islands wrote Stephanus van der Pavert the lyrics of the song "Riba Awa". Also the flora and fauna were the source of inspiration for Antillean composers to write music and lyrics about to express their joy. "Paharito i su Amiguito" and "Fiesta de Cura" are a good example of this.
