One of my all time favorite records. All three tracks are amazing but Jazz house gets me everytime.

Dave Benus and Wayne Gardiner are two of the most respected New York deep house producers of the early 90's (Hey, it wasn't just all about the Burrell Brothers and Bobby Konders...as great as they are :) ;) ). Any records with their names on are essential buys and are ones you will truly cherish if you're a fan of deep or jazzy deep house. And speaking of those two, I always found it amazing that Dave Benus and Wayne Gardiner never did anything for Nu Groove Records back in the day, not even under a different guise. Oh well.

Funny thing is there has been a recent explosion in the popularity and an uptick in sales of classic House especially sophisticated varieties such as this Wayne Gardiner production. It's happening right before our very eyes yet seemingly unnoticed but there is actually a shortage of House records for sale right now. 20-something year olds are hot and heavy on the crate digging scene. The hipster movement is in full effect. The one or two good shops left here in New York have a real problem trying to keep House Records in stock and no one seems to be selling their collections. I suggest if you see a record you want just buy it.
