Got this and really enjoy. The recent remaster is brick walled and compressed so stay away from that if you care about sound.

I lost my original copy of this in a 2012 move to my girlfriends house.luckily I found this copy online not too long after my copy sounds wonderful better than the cd and identical to my original copy i would recommend this

Hi,one little question, I have a pressing which has a break (that means 1 second - 1/4 revolution without sound during the song) on Side 1, tilte 6 - body at 3:15 min. Has somebody the same or is it a mispress?

My copy has no marks and sounds so good to me.I really like the gatefold packaging, usually mov doesn't do that for a single disc, so it's fine.This album was already great on cd and is much great on vinyl.

There are several things about this pressing that are a little off to me and uncharacteristic of MOV. The album name on the spine of mine is cut off at the beginning so that it reads "ixteen stone." Do not believe this was caused by damage at all; it looks like a pressing error the way it is very cleanly cut off. Then the color of the disc is not close to copper. It is a very dark, murky brown that doesn't match the album coloring like the promo picture does. Don't think I've ever seen MOV not have a disc color come out right; they are usually really on-point about that.Aside from those cosmetic issues that I don't care too much about, my main issue is why this wasn't put on 2 discs like the remastered version that also just came out was. They have spread shorter albums onto 2, and I think this one could use to really bring the full sound out. It still sounds very good, but I think it could be better. Then I always find it awkward when they put a single disc in a gatefold jacket with one pocket left completely empty.I typically love the work MOV does, but this one feels like a bit of a goof, especially considering how some copies apparently came with bad defects to the disc. Luckily mine sounds good.

Warning! Some copies have a pressing defect: the first two tracks of side A present three different and clearly visible marks that affect playing with clearly audible pops (see my copy, s/n 214: http://i62.tinypic.com/6zbfxv.jpg).I've contacted Music On Vinyl that has acknowledged it as a "rare manufacturing problem".Hopefully they'll solve it with a repress.

I fully agree with the others. This press is below any acceptable standard and Kirtland Records should be ashamed off themselves!I bought a brand new sealed version of this and heard it once in its full length and the sounds is just TERRIBLE! It sounds like an old worn record with lots of background noise and scratches clearly to be heard during playback. Also the sound really lacks the dynamic of a vinyl recording.Avoid this edition!
