Sadaron above the Gods
You won't find many Finnish experimental jazz records inspired by megalithic temples in Micronesia, in fact this might be the only one. The sound is organic and makes heavy use of extended drones. Minor-key saxophone melodies wind their way through lush forests of harp, flute and brass, sometimes recalling Ligeti, at other times the first This Heat album if the most of the drums were removed. This is quite an extraordinary record, in a good way, I urge you to listen if you get the chance.
