Saithinin
According to the liner notes, all tracks either previously unreleased or released only as singles. Half of the tracks were recorded live at Basin Street West in San Francisco on three nights in June,1965. The others were "recorded in New York" in 1965-1967. Essentially this is the same Thundering Herd that recorded five great LPs for Philips in 1962-1964, the band that some say was Herman's all-time best.
