Xurad

Heavy psychedelic shoegaze vibes. This album will never leave my soul. Faves got to be Infrared and Outshine the sun; both beautifully express aspects of the psychonaut's landscape.

Zolorn

Not their best, but some good stuff, though.It opens promising with "Phased", but from there things goes downhill until "Freeze" which is a good song too, unfortunately this is not the thing with the next one, "Things he Told her", but side one ends pretty good with "Infrared". Side two opens with two slightly disappointing tunes, but on the third one, (one of the two single releases from the album, "Phased" is the other one.) "Somer Finer Day" something happens, and I'm happy again. "Blindfolded Visionary" is even better, but they saved the best song 'til the end, "Outshine The Sun". One of their best songs ever. But two great songs and four good ones doesn't give the album more than three stars. The other 5 aren't really bad, but not up to the standard I'm used to on their previous albums. And it's a deadly sin to bury Julianne Regan's beautiful voice deep in the mix.
