Notes

The seventeenth release from Eustace Walks [EW31]

A product of the Debonair Imprint.

Comprises a single improvised take, recorded direct to cassette on the evening of Tuesday April 10, 2018, for coursework purposes.

Recorded in Exeter.

Employing feedback and distortion, the recording of this improvised album was incredibly loud (and rarely for me, involved a helping hand... thanks to Miss Deidun for taking over on the synthesiser about halfway through, while I experimented with the set-up). During the process, various pedals were introduced into the recording set-up and then taken away again, and the cold remnants of a cup of instant coffee were spilled on the table (I attempted to lap this up around 1/3 of the way in, microphone in hand). My saintly-patient, hungry housemate messaged me asking how much longer we'd be so that she could come in and cook dinner - my response ("potentially 10") became the title, mid-recording. In post-, the live cassette audio has been affected with light reverb and ambience; I have also created track divisions and auto-tuned the recording, hard.
