I will join in on the praise party. Intensiven is a crowd mover of atemporal might. I don't care when you were born, how many diapers you've changed last week, how many return trips to the local boy scout school have you made, you are simply not sitting down. Every time I played some music for friends at my place, if I played this track, I always got asked about it. Always.I'd say its charm resides in simplicity and a modest goal: I do not care who you are, you're getting up from that chair. Probably voluntarily too, once the sounds penetrate your bones.The percussion revolves around your typical scando-hydraulic-pumping repertoire, but when combined with that hysterical hook line, damn. It makes the track sound like a stampede of pissed off elephants was coming after you, their velocity being measured in the track's BPM rate. A vintage, true to form party monster from the nineties. This record is probably dirt cheap these days, so just treat yourself to a copy, even if for one track only.In my case, Skicka Baskaggen comes a close second with an infectious vocal, not overly tweaked, and more funk than you could shake a stick at. Irresisitible groove, chunky rhythm work out, nicely flavored bass line. All ingredients to ensure a mad dancing session are checked and accounted for. But personally, I am more hooked on the sinister menace of the B1 tune!

Putting a four star for AA1 - "Intensiven" here. This track blew me away in the 90s on a Carl Cox mix. Great stompy techno. Obtained a 12" copy in fair condition

This was a real peak-of-the-set tune for the harder techno heads - the Scandinavian techno sound at its best. My fave is "Skicka Basskaggen" which has the "Praise my Bass Drum" sample. I can remember completely losing it to this one more than once on the floor at Atomic Jam at the Que club in Birmingham. "Intensiven" on the flip comes a close second with a totally intense distorted synth sound. The other two are fairly routine hard tunes.
