I have a version of the Project X 7" from the 90's but it has silver labels with a big hole no writing on either side anyone know who pressed this record?

It's a boot. I don't remember the exact details, but I recall it was kind of controversial, because there was some thought that the person who made them was going to try to pass them off as originals. However, something got screwed up in the process (either the plant made a mistake, or someone ordered the wrong thing), because the records showed up with silver labels instead of white. Something like that. I'm no expert, but the point is, it's a boot. The original pressing was 500 on black vinyl with white labels and big holes. Anything after that up to the B9 reissues is not legit.
