This CD has 14 of Yma Sumac's 18 tracks that were recorded in 1943. There were 23 known cuts from the 1943 sessions with the others being instrumentals or having vocals by Yma's sister in-law, Rosita Vivanco, and other vocalists. The 2012 CD, Early Yma Sumac: the Imma Sumack sessions, has all of them.

Tracks 3, 6, 9, 13, 16, 19 are instrumentals performed by Indian-american Band ("Conjunto Indoamericano") Inti-Sumaj. No recording dates are given, though apparently a few tracks were previously released on Yma Sumac - Presenting Yma Sumac (In A Collection Of Early Recordings) as recorded in Argentina in 1943. I't not clear whether this cd presents the entire 1943 session (that sounds like a live set).
