This record was featured in Bits and Pieces '86 mastermix by Carlos Berrios and has some of the largest bass and drums that have ever been programmed into a record compliments of Arthur Baker and Lottie Golden of the electro group Warp 9. This is truly a hidden gem of a record that few people know about but Breaks and Beats lovers and electro heads need to get their hands on to enjoy the teutonic beats.

Hey--I really admire your review of "Pickin' Up Pieces." Excellent description of the production by Arthur Baker and Lotti Golden--the two collaborated on a few incredible seminal records on which music journalists have lavished much well deserved praise. Other producers may have made more money, but producer writers Baker and Golden made music history. (See "The Rap Attack" by David Toop.)
