Well, Alec Gould, James Harpham and Paul Lewis prove they are gods and the rest of us are mere mortals with their compositions on this LP! Wonderful and super creative stuff throughout, which seems to be a running theme with vintage children's music in the library scene. The music uses a lot of synthesizer sounds mixed with real instrumentation, and the tracks are bouncy, playful, lively and always interesting. Side B's experiments are slightly more serious, yet still retains the playfulness of children's music. Harpham delivers some other-worldly inventions on this one, and his tracks are worth the price of admission alone. Overall, as expected, this is a wildly creative LP with lots of great compositions by these talented composers. Buy it now, love it now!Recommended for fans of extremely creative library music and children's music with electronics. I'd give it 6 or 7 stars if I could.
