Essential lo-fi/noise pop of the '90s. The guitar tones have rarely been matched. The modesty and genuine craft shines right into you.

Mew is complete garbage. Pretentious garbage. The Swirlies were awesome and did their own thing. Its an insult to this band to even mention or compare them to a band as bloated and lame as Mew.
Meztisho
Mew? WTF?? Proggy nonsense indeed. The complexity and frantic ADD nature is the only thing in common, these guys were on a total fucking unique trip out when they made this album...it blows me away way more than Loveless to be fair. I'm being 100% genuine about this. Fucking mental fluid noise, poise and guitar bliss with an adorable tinge of slacker humour and avant noise mischief. Berserk & melodic sonic perfection, flawless sweet male/female harmonies and an energy that is supernatural. Top 5 of the 90's forever. Agree? Message me and be my mate!

Oparae
strongly disagree that Mew did it better. The Swirlies were great. Mew is overblown nonsense.
Endieyab
This album inspired danish band Mew to make the music they do. They did it better but they didn´t invent it.
Mautaxe
You are on the wrong level dude. It's just time changes and a slight schizoid thing, millions of bands do that, different planets Mew and Swirlies really. Stadium pomposity vs. slacker mania. No contest.
