My copy of this box arrived with both glasses totally broken with pieces of glass everywhere in the box, strongly damaging all images and inserts inside. I just wrote to Metal Blade records, and they IMMEDIATELY sent me a FULL other box, which arrived perfectly safe. This label is truly exceptionnal in his honesty and dedication. This boxset itself is one of the most complete set I have manage to get ! And TWO PATHS is an excellent ENSIFERUM album !

One of the glasses in my copy arrived damaged. The tip of the horn broke of and sent bits of glass through the box scratching some of the material below. The CDs however are of fantastic quality and this album is brilliant. Excellent box set

I bought this version after my black vinyl version showed some disturbing noise on every single side. This version sounds properly, however the pressing is not perfect, as disk is a bit warped, just a tad, but enough to be noticed. No more surface noise to be noticed than on black vinyl. In my opinion this blue-marbled vinyl doesn't look a bit as good as on promo photos and I still would prefer black vinyl (but having some troubles with that one I'd decided to go with this one).

My pressing was far from ideal. There was a noise on particular place on vinyl that show up on every song on both sides. It was especially disturbing in quieter parts, but could be heard on full metal songs as well. It went back to the distributor and they returned my money, since other copies they tried had the same problem. I'm not sure whether it's vinyl mixture problem or the discs used to press the vinyl, but it was first time I encounter such a problem - the one that existed on every single song of the album. Now I've tried other distribution channels (from other country) and colour vinyl instead of black. We will see how it ends.As for sound quality - dynamics are amazing, however it lacks a bit of lower and higher frequencies. Quality of the recording is great, but I think mastering engineer was too cautious and mastered it so it can play properly without distorting even on low-end turntables. And that's a shame, because it might sound even better if he wasn't so cautious. That said, I would choose this vinyl release every single time over the digital version as it carries so much more energy of the music and sounds great (and I'm not that kind of guy, who thinks that vinyl is always better).

Hi, no... well it was something like "shou, shou". It wasn't very bassy sounding, more in the mids but it was very strange na disturbing. Those "shou, shou" noises appeared on every single disc rotation (on every track and on both sides) and were very distinctive and countable (2x shou ;) ). That's why I think it was something wrong with the vinyl material itself or maybe damaged stampers. There is no such problem not even slightly on Blue Marbled version I bought later on.

OK, I should change my opinion a bit about sound quality. I said it lacks a bit of lower and higher frequencies and now I'm on different cartridge which shows how good this album's sound really is. I would probably never come back to digial files of this album again. It sounds amazing, detailed and great.

The noise you were talking about was a bass line humming?

I bought another copy, Blue Sky Clear Marbled this time and there is no disturbing noise on the disk, so I assume there was something wrong with the black vinyl one I had.
