On Lanza's first two movies, the pop songs were on different albums than the opera arias. Popular songs from "The Toast of New Orleans" were recorded in 1950 on RCA Red Seal 45 rpm 2 record Box Set, DM-1417 (4 songs). The above recording was most probably (?) a 1950 release. RCA issued a 3Box Set of 45s featuring operatic arias and duets (w/Elaine Malbin, soprano) titled "The Toast of New Orleans." It contained, I believe, six selections. RCA was changing its disc format at this time. We saw some EPs, some 10 inch LPs, and regular LPs in 1950 for Mario Lanza recordings.
