About time this artist dropped some new sonic Acid on us.Great minimal tracks with evolving soundscapes, laden with driving percussion and mechanics.Not as stripped down as his last release on Cocoon, but it is as psychedelic, if not more. The mastering is a little muddied compared to some of his other releases, but over all it is a great record. The A side is a hypnotic mesh that unfolds like origami cranes doused in neon light. The B side is a fun romp that sounds like an orchestra trying to tune their instruments, but the infectious groove coming from the building next door keeps throwing them off.
