Just got this and man is it noisey. Beautiful record. Such a shame. These should have been recalled.

Haal

Like the others have said, fantastic album but this pressing is very crackly and poppy. It's a shame because the vinyl itself looks amazing, but I'd avoid this pressing as anything besides art.

not a very good pressing indeed... anyway Julien´s voice is above any cracks or pops! XD

Another voice to this. Great record, but this pressing is HORRIBLE. AVOID! AVOID!Noisy, clips like mad. Such a shame :(

Hasirri

Horrible pressing. The first track on each side is nigh unlistenable, and the rest are passable but certainly not good. Eagerly awaiting the Matador UK repress in the spring.This is, by far, the most disappointed I've ever been in a new record -- not because it was the ABSOLUTE worst (Coldplay's "Prospekt's March" may take that cake), but because I had such high hopes.

Braendo

The Matador repress is incalculably better, and worth the shipping/exchange rate if you're a fan of the album.

Bliss

Another voice that this is a noisy pressing. Lots of pops. This is one where I'll probably do the blasphemous thing and listen to the download more than the record. The record is physically beautiful and the recorded material is wonderful. The pressing does not do it justice.

Capella

this pressing sounds okay but It's very noisy during the opening minutes of each side, especially on the B side which really sucks cause track B1 is my favorite on the whole album. This album is beautiful and deserves a clean pressing smh.... i would recommend passing on this, maybe the first pressings sound better.

Gogal

Wish I'd read reviews before I ordered this. B1 is so incredible, and it's basically unlistenable. Hopefully Matador's repress in the spring will be better...
