Sha
Mesmerizing song and atmosphere from Automagic, the original cut being the best and deepest, the duo should create an album in that vein and get a chance to put it to vinyl I feel (sorry, I don't think anymore when I listen to that music). The MacLean cut is quiet cool, dancing, hypnotic, enjoyable; the Morel stuff is awful as most of the remixes I past noticed his name upon (aside of the great Radio Edit he did for Yoko Ono 'Move On Fast' in 2011), well it's output on his label; the Bander stuff is ok though some of these 'contemporary' sounds are becoming quiet 'cliché' but it must be fine for a dance; I can grasp the acid vibe of the Allies For Everyone remix but I'm annoyed by the high-hat sound, the way it is tuned has been done so for 30 years in house and it somehow ruin the good intention for all of the other elements including breaks and arrangements are fine; the Best Mate cut is funny, it use the finger-snap beat which was quiet common in early to mid-1990's deep and garage house but nevertheless that remix is really good and due to fact that lil' sound element hasn't been over used since ages it makes the cut an enjoyable deep house choon to close this first part of remixes release available from the Kid Recording website and other sources. The congratulation however should go to Automagic!
