Gann
Beautiful album (hard to get), a fantastic voice, the essence of the beautiful 80s, Bill You can easily sing the text of Golden Wedding Of Sorrow to the chords of Arena Says - the influence is there. Of course, Death In June is much slower and darker, with different meaning, but in terms of particular chords and chords progressions it borrows from Half a Million album. And Bill Pritchard, in his turn, is influenced by Morrissey, both in the way of singing and the voice (especially on higher notes).

I have always felt that way too about the Death in June similarities...way before Douglas P did it.

I agree (hi, aty). Half a Million's influence is clearly heard in DIJ when it comes to certain chord voicings and progressions.
