Another top quality release from Data Discs. The mastering is as close to perfect as you can get, they bypassed the mega drive pre amp and took the tracks direct from the chip. If you're a Shinobi fan this soundtrack will not disappoint. Love the look of the limited bone with black. DD is setting the standards for how good video game OST's should be made.

Great Video Game OST. Really nice that the label mastered and pressed this at 45RPM. Playing this back at 33RPM really takes it to a appreciated new level. The tracks take on some weight and heft in the middle range and low end of the sound spectrum. The Track "The Shinobi" just slays at half speed and really showcased the composers melodic dexterity. Great packaging and pressing make this a true treat for fans of the game and video game music.
ME
Sounds great as usual. They've let some of the tracks loop for longer than I suspected they would (perhaps because even doing this it is still less than 30 minutes long). They have also reordered some of the tracks from how they appear in the game, presumably so that side B can open with the mighty 'Ninja Step'. Keep them coming, Data Discs.
Llathidan
Nope! I didn't manage to with the Outrun vinyl either.
