Just noticed something odd, in the remastered version of "Never For Ever". From minute 2:20 of "Violin", up to all "The Infant Kiss", the left channel undergoes significant drops in volume. I have listened to both CD and vinyl, and I heard this issue on both. Here is a list of the moments when the problem is most highlighted:Violin -> 2:20 - 2:28 - 2:38 - 2:52The Infant Kiss -> 1:18 - 2:33The same thing happen on "Kite" from "The Kick Inside", at minute 1:10, and God knows where else. That's absolutely unacceptable, for the price.

This is a nice reissue. Outer package/ box is a solid hardcover looks like it will stand the test of time. Vinyl is clean, flat, free from scuffs and overall very good quality. Not too much difference in sound, certainly sounds clean, super smooth with nice seperation and a balanced pleasing mix. A bit of warble between tracks is a bit annoying, but disapears once the music kicks in. Definitely worth the $90 I paid.

I'm sorry but for the vinyl should of had two boxes at a much reduced price just like the two CD boxes. They could of fit Part II with Part I ... And then then three and four ??? Most have been released in the last 7 years. James Guthrie going to improve those I suppose. Ok.
