The Discogs entry for this release has Robin Morrison as the mastering engineer. However, "GUY'S ELECTRIC" in the deadwax suggests it's actually Guy Davie at Electric Mastering. Anyone know for sure? Also, any idea where these were pressed? Cheers.
Mbon
Hey! Mastering was by Robing Morrison, lac was cut @ electric by Guy.

Can anyone explain the difference between the limited 1. press and the deluxe edition?I got my copy when the limited edition was officially sold out but catalogue number is the same (the Dl is missing).
Zulurr
I've juste bought the vinyl, so it's not de Limited edition, but the catalogue number is NAIMLP340 and not NAIMLP340 DI. Do we need to add a new release?
Flarik
ok.. that's sort of a joke. They limit it by writing "limited edition". If that's the only differene, its pointless..
Zacki
it has been updated, the first edition clearly has "Limited First Edition" on the booklet!
Majin
The initial run of 500 has sold out. But, the "deluxe" version is now up on Yazz Ahmed's bandcamp; https://yazzahmed.bandcamp.com/album/la-saboteuse-2 There is no mention of the 16p booklet - the only difference. The naim website does however say it includes the booklet; https://naim.bleepstores.com/release/81564-yazz-ahmed-la-saboteuse, who knows! So, I guess they pressed them all up together. It would be interesting to see if clean copies are out there - I'm not interested if I can't play it! no matter how pretty they look. After reports that even after several cleans, the vinyl is very noisy, it does not entice me. Great album mind, the digital album sounds boss.
Tuliancel
I've got a clean copy with 16 Page Booklet. No Complaints here.
Puchock
My new copy has a lot of pops and crackle , encountered the same on the only other naim Pressing I've owned which was a Charlie Haden , both beautiful albums but lots of snap crackle n pop , anyone experience the same ¿
Heraly
My copy is dead silent: no snap, crackle, or pop - I just power the amp down before I drop the needle - sounds like ant jazz....Jesus the state of pressing quality on new releases over the last few year couldn't be more abysmal. Super beautiful tarted-up packaging created in order to hold a pair of veritable sonic frisbees. And the irony of this being released on a label associated with hella expensive audio gear is not lost here.
Hidden Winter
My copy is clean, but I cut the black sleeves of the vinyl first, and immediately put the vinyls in Mofi sleeves.Only this way you can save the records. The grain of those black sleeves is killing the records...
Conjukus
My copy the first record is poor both sides - badly warped with a ton of pop and crackle. The second record is better - quieter and flatter. But I'm still returning it. Such poor quality for such and expensive record!
Magis
yeah, it's the same with my copy! Seams the pressing is not so good...
Shezokha
Sadly confirmed. Was about to return till I read the comments, I guess that's the best you can get. Some very loud pops at Record B for me, needle almost skips, must be debris. Record A is perfect.
Axebourne
My copy has pops too, will try a cleaning soon
Moogugore
Try to clean (wet) it...it might be static and debris from the press.
Karg
Does anyone have a quiet copy? It's really put me off getting this on vinyl. Such an amazing album, such a pity if this pressing is really noisy. Why's it got such a high score??? I've always thought that discogs sound have a separate vote for the quality of music and the quality of the pressing/mastering.
INwhite
Great album, amazing artwork and a terrible pressing. I'd prefer a generic blank sleeve if it meant no pops, clicks and noise.
Buridora
I have the same problem, lots of pops and crackles. It's a shame, considering how expensive this album is.
Celen
I confirm the same. Very, very noisy even when cleaned two times. Superb album, but vinyl pressing to avoid unfortunately :-(
Ballardana
Same here, lots of pops, crackle and noise. Shame because the packaging and music is great.
Thiama
Yes, there are few pops that are definitely pressing related. Nothing too major, but its a shame since they put so much effort into the vinyl production.
Bumand
Yes, very noisy despite a careful and thorough cleaning. As you say, an amazing album but this vinyl formulation leaves much to be desired. The new Fleet Foxes and Offa Rex albums (also Nonesuch) are better but not dead quiet by any means.
