KY Jelly Babies remix on this release is ace. Dare i say its just as good as the original version.

Hard pounding rhythms, throbbing bassline and tough acid rift made this an amazing tune that was absolutely huge and still sounds amazing today. A real classic techno / acid track & a must for anyone's collection. It is all about the original mix, although there's plenty to choose from.

This is a Techno classic! Think Billy NAsty. Classic acid techno that every dj was playing.

I may be missing something but this release never did it for me. The A mix has a bunch of tacky vocal samples thrown on, the AA is just a bit dull and generic. I much prefer the original mix and neither of these seem to keep the wicked acid/303 lines. The OD404 mix (also on Tripoli) was a bit better.

Whipped this one off the shelf the other day and forgot how amazing the KY Jelly Babies mix was. This featured in pretty much every major Hard house DJ set at time of release and has to be in the top 10 hard house records of all time. The breakdown is evil. Stab and hoover madness building up to crazy stomp fest. I never saw an empty dance floor when this came on.

Excellent remix by BK on the A (KY Jelly Babies Mix)side. deep bass and pounding beats make this into one of the harder tracks released on Tripoli. Great arrangement of the hoovers for the break and the stabs on the 1st beat of the bar. overall a fantastic production.

In the banging techno//acid stakes, this is right up there with 'Wisdom To The Wise' by Dave Clarke and 'Pioneers Of The Universe' by The Hypnotist. It starts off with kick arse harsh industrial beats that could do some serious speaker damage if you’re not careful. A screamed vocal marks the beginning of the acid assault, and from there on this track simply does not let go. It rains down so hard that it should come with a government health warning! Anybody who has witnessed this track played in a club will appreciate its tour de force' impact. Kids, stay away from this record, its evil!

Having recently played it out again, you really have to realize how good the Secret Cinema mix age. The thumping bass with that off beat horn sample is just timeless, although it is tough for a normal punter to recognise it is actually a Access remix. One for the djs in the know.

Full marks for the original mix! A totally unique track. Pounding drums that sound like no others, a tumbling baseline that's always driving forwards and a pause for the "oooom" sample to send a shiver down your spine. Never bettered.

A true classic. Starting off with a nice chuggin' beat with a simple bass sound ("BO"!). I remember when it was released - clubs full of people looking like goldfish - miming the bassline. Trippy. Then a lovely breakdown with a nice reverb effect, a few snippets of (somewhat cheesy) vocal and it all kicks off. The 303 line is simple but effective - really powerful in its simplicity. It takes you right to the top. As far as Acid Techno goes this is rather commercial in it's sound but I think that may be the reason it is so "accessible" (sorry for the pun). Some cheesy remixes kind of "spoilt the broth" but the original mix is one of the best tunes to have hit the club scene since...well...sliced bread or something. Sweet. Go get yourself a copy!
