huckman
got a NM copy for sale, send pm if interested.
Rainshaper
I have a copy of this 12" but the Amoeba Berkeley price tag indicates that it was priced second hand on 03/24/1997. That seems correct from my recollection of purchasing this 12".
Ielonere
got a copy from mr bongo way before 2004 ??
Alister
I have one I like to sell, but not sure what it's worth. State VG+/ VG
BORZOTA
so glad I got a copy of this before it was banned to sell on discogs #blessed
Rainpick
I think it's official reissue in around 2000, Not bootleg reissue. The hand-writing on the matrix looks like the lacquer mastering was done by TONY DAWSEY. The same handwritings can be seen on many D.I.T.C. or Lord Finesse's records.
Hulore
If anyone can help me on this...I have an acetate from the Hit Factory of Red Hot Lover Tone's For My Niggaz feat Biggie etc, how can I determine the market value of this ?
Porgisk
Ok, I am feeling good now, I have the original, I did buy it around 91 and it has the Lord Finesse assisted track on it, still in great condition!!!
Taun
I have a promo single with just 4 tracks"SOUL CLAP(Short vers.,OFF BEAT MIX,PARTY GROOVE(Bass mix also instrumental).Another killer hip-hop must have.

As nobody commented yet: The almighty "Soul Clap EP", if we would still be in the 90ties, this would be one of the most desired Hip Hop Items of all of them for sure. It's just funny how many undiscovered "private / independent" hip-hop 12's are showing up in retrospect, discovered probably partly by a younger generation, which is dope.In the golden age (pre-internet), this one was one of those, that never showed up and that everybody wanted to have. This was and still is a full quality release! I prefer this picture cover release, but that is off course matter of taste, it's best to have them both ;)
Lo◘Ve
'Party Groove' & 'Soul Clap' are two of the all - time underground hip hop party classics.Disparate samples have rarely been put together so expertly [not to mention funkily]"I Love Hip Hop - F**k Rock 'N' Roll!"
Uttegirazu
"I Love Hip Hop...F**k Rock 'N' Roll!"Amen to that!
Jothris
The above note that mentions the run-out having "CBS♪♪" etched isn't correct. It should read "CSB♪♪" instead of CBS. This etching is ONLY on the side labeled "SHOW SIDE", and there are spaces in between each letter and the music notes.
Winawel
The picture above is showing the original press. Check the scan, the main artist is "Showbiz & A.G.", on most of the re-issues it's "Showbiz & A.G" without the closing period.
Mustard Forgotten
Referring to an interview with Showbiz this came out in 1991 and they sold it straight out of their trunk. Comparing it to the later EP release on London Records, this version contains the original mix of "Soul clap" with different lyrics. You also get an exclusive track called "It's up to you" featuring Lord Finesse and the instrumentals of "Soul clap" & "Giant in the mental". The original pressing is mad rare - expect to pay more than 200$ at eBay. But a reprint is still available.

Another and the most definitive indication of an original pressing is the etchings csb and 2 music notes with F/W (short for Frankford Wayne) in the run out grooves on the A side of the vinyl in addition to the catalogue number. The B side has the F/W etching in runout groove.
